Dayspring, the Richland County home and assisted living facility, is in need of a new roof. County Commissioner Tony Vero told WMAN they are considering options right now to either put on a slate roof, which would have a high price tag, compared to a traditional roof. The slate roof would cost more but last longer. If the commissioners go with a slate roof, a grant of $100,000 would be available to help towards the cost.
