Richland County's Regional Planning Commission has received over 56 thousand dollars from the Ohio Department of Transportation for fiscal year 2020.
Commission Executive Director Jotika Shetty told RichlandSource.com the funds will be used to improve mobility for Richland County citizens who require transportation. ODOT issued the grant after the commission completed a Public Transit-Human Service Transportation Plan, which identifies and addresses the needs of community members currently unmet by available resources.
