Icy roads were the cause an accident involving a semi-truck Tuesday. A semi-truck slid off Ohio 314 at Hook Road and collided with a telephone pole. According to richlandsource.com, the accident knocked live wires loose on the road, closing the road late Tuesday morning. The truck was removed from the scene after the power was shut off. The road was closed for several hours. No injuries were reported.
