The Ashland County Commissioners approved their largest budget ever Thursday morning. This is largely due to an increase in sales tax revenue. According to richlandsource.com, Ashland County's sales tax revenue has jumped from more than $6.5 million in 2018 to more than $7 million in 2019, allowing the county's general fund for 2020 to grow to $15 million.
