Mansfield City Council will meet tonight to discuss a proposal to raise the pay of Mansfield's elected officials. Earlier this month a meeting of council's employee relations committee didn't resolve issues surrounding the proposed increase. Riclandsource.com is reporting that another employee relations committee meeting, one of four planned before council caucus is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. The city's temporary 2020 budget will be discussed by the finance meeting at 6:20. Council is expected to vote on the budget tonight.
