The City of Mansfield water meter replacement plan is moving along nicely. City Councilman Cliff Mears told WMAN News, installation of the business and commercial meters will start in January. The install for residents will start up in February.
Mansfield pumps over 9 million gallons of water a day, but was only billing for just under 4 million, due to the old meter's.
Mansfield is losing $100,000 in revenue per month with the old meter's.
