Detectives from the Ashland Police Division and the Ashland County Sheriff's Department assigned to the METRICH Enforcement Unit, along with members of the Ashland Police Division and the Ashland Special Response Team, executed a search warrant in the 600 block of Arthur Street. During the Friday morning raid, two people were taken into custody and suspected heroin, drug paraphernalia, drug abuse instruments and evidence related to drug trafficking were seized. The search warrant was a result of an ongoing investigation. The case has been forwarded to the Ashland County Prosecutor's Office for review.
