The city of Mansfield inaugurated its chapter of Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice with a reception at North Lake Park Saturday afternoon. Jerry Pena, CSSJ Midwest Regional Manager, told RichlandSource.com the group functions as an affiliate of the Alliance for Safety and Justice, which advocates on behalf of victims of crime and currently claims over 30,000 members nationwide. Mansfield's chapter began with a drive undertaken in January of 2019.
