New three-year contracts with its two police unions are one of the items that are expected to be voted on at tonight Mansfield City Council meeting. Richlandsource.com is reporting that, the separate agreements are with the "Gold" unit, representing police command officers which is captains, lieutenants and sergeants, and the "Blue" unit, which represents police officers. Details of the contracts, including pay increases, will not be available until council approves the deals.
Both of the contracts would be retroactive to August 1st, and would run through July 31st of 2022.
