Jake's Steakhouse in Ashland has closed after being in business for 15 years at it's Sugarbush Court location. According to richlandsource.com, Tim DeRodes a managing partner a Jake's Steakhouse sent out an apology electronically to their employees. In the letter he explained that with all of the repair and maintenance cost of the three stores, he slowly began to struggle financially. The Jake's Mount Vernon location closed on September 26th in similar fashion, with an email to employees just before midnight the previous evening. That location was open for 18 years.
