Over 300 volunteers across Richland County took part in various service projects for Friday's United Way Day of Caring. According to RichlandSource.com, nearly 30 local businesses and organizations, including Nanogate North America, Warren Rupp, and the 179th Airlift Wing, were involved in the day's projects. Work included the installation of smoke alarms in local houses and beautification of the Mansfield Y.
