Ohio Testing New Program To Cut Down Wait Times At Bureau Of Motor Vehicles

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine says the state will begin testing a new program to cut down wait times at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

Officials say the pilot program is an online check-in allowing motorists to get in line remotely until receiving an alert to go to the BMV where they are then placed no further than three back from the front of the line.

The BMV says the program has a few bugs to work out, but hopes to deploy to all BMV offices in the state.
