Steve McKinley was sworn in Tuesday to replace Richland County Juvenile Court Judge Ron Spon, who just retired at the end of March.
RichlandSource.com reports McKinley said, one of the things that help pave his way to the bench was raising 6 kids with his wife, Ann, who he has been married to for 28 years. McKinley had been the Richland County Domestic Relations Court Magistrate since 1998. McKinley will finish out the term of Spon, which runs through 2020, and is expected to run for re-election.
