Ashland University President Dr. Carlos Campo will review the university’s accomplishments of the past year and outline goals for the future in his “State of the University address” to be held Monday, April 22, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Brethren Care Wellness Center located at 2130 Center St. in Ashland.
Dr. Campo is set to speak extensively on a year of institutional progress that took place during calendar year 2018, which commemorated AU’s 140 years of shaping lives of students.
“The community has rallied around this great university time and again, and I’m excited to share about the milestones that Ashland University has achieved, thanks, in no small part, to this continued support,” Dr. Campo said. “The entire Ashland community has been committed to making progress on our strategic plan, Ashland Rising 2020, and this is the perfect time to celebrate all that hard work.”
The event is open to all those in the community, and attendees can expect to hear updates on key function areas of the University, including University finances, admissions and enrollment, fundraising and athletics.
