Ashland County has 3 warming shelter’s set up through Friday due to the dangerously cold temperatures. The Salvation Army Kroc Center on Liberty St. is open from 7:30 am – 9 pm, Ashland County Service Center on St. Rt. 60 from 8 am – 4:30 pm and Trinity Lutheran Church on Center St. from 8 am – 5 pm.
A warming shelter has been set up in Richland County at 47 South Main Street in downtown Mansfield, which is the Salvation Army building.The shelter will be open 6 pm to 6 am each day through Friday. Most of the state of Ohio is under a Wind Chill Warning until late Thursday afternoon.
