The jazz quintet Steve Brown and Friends featuring 5 of the best jazz musicians in the area will perform music from the Great American Songbook including works by Cole Porter, George Gerswin, Jerome Kern, Sammy Cahn, Rogers and Hart, Jimmy Van Heusen, Duke Ellington, and others.
They will also feature works by such contemporary composers as Herbie Hancock, John Lennon, Paul McCartney and Billy Joel.
Members of the group include Steve Brown from Lexington on piano and vocals; Eric Fairhurst from Wooster on sax and flute; Steve Berry from Ashland on drums; Andy Cary from Wooster on guitar; and Dan Conwell from Wooster on bass.
The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m., Friday, February 1, 2019 at the Theatre 166 located at 166 Park Avenue West in Mansfield.
