The Ashland County Bomb Squad has a new robot thanks to Homeland Security dollars. Ashland County Emergency Management Director Mark Rafeld told WMAN News that the cost of the new robot is $104, 950. The Ashland County Bomb Squad is a regional team that services 6 counties that surround Ashland. Rafeld said since 2010, roughly $255,000 worth of equipment has been added to the Ashland County Bomb Squad to enhance their capabilities to respond.
