The Mansfield City Schools Board of Education has approved a pay raise for substitute teachers and 70 security cameras at Malabar Intermediate School. The raise in the daily pay for substitute teachers goes from $90 to $140. The district feels this will help them attract more substitute teachers, when regular teachers are out.
The 70 security cameras will be installed at Malabar Intermediate School during the holiday break from Dec. 20th – Jan 2nd.The contract with Crider Solutions to install security cameras will cost $25,782 for the equipment and$16,500 to install.
