Ohio State Head Coach Urban Meyer Retiring

Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer is retiring effective January 2nd.  Meyer, who has spent 7 seasons in Columbus, has a record of 82-9 with Ohio State. The Buckeyes under Meyer, have went 57-5 in the Big 10 and won the 2014 National Title. The 54 year old Meyer has a career record of 186 – 32, which is a career winning percentage of 85%. Meyer’s health is believed to be the reason he is stepping down and reports say Ryan Day will take over as the Buckeyes head coach after the Rose Bowl game January 1st.
