The Ashland School board has chosen Zach Truax to fill the open seat on the school board, after Will Gravitt resigned on Sept. 30th. Truax was one of three finalist for the open seat and will be sworn in today (Mon, Oct. 29th). RichlandSource.com reports, Ashland School board President Jim Wolfe said that the board chose Truax because of his strong passion for educating all students. Zach Truax will serve out the remainder of Gravitt’s term, which runs through Jan 1st, 2020.
