Crawford County has qualified for Auditor of State Distinction. According to Dave Yost’s office, the county is one of only four state agencies given this distinction. “Their excellent record keeping has qualified them for the Auditor of State Award with Distinction, Yost stated. The award is given to local governments and school districts that receive a “clean” financial audit report. “Clean financial books are vital to accountability in government,” Yost said. “These governments are clearly committed to maintaining accurate records, and I am proud to present them with this award.”
