Mansfield Police Chief Ken Coontz still believes fugitive Shawn Christy is in Richland County. RichlandSource.com spoke with the chief and says that families should continue locking their doors and cars. Assistant Mansfield Police Chief Keith Porch also wants to remind residents in the south eastern part of the county to near St. Rt. 13 to do the same.
Christy is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service, F.B.I., Secret Service and numerous local authorities for threatening the president and other local officials, burglary and probation violation.
The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward cash award of up to $20,000 for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Shawn Christy.
