The Ohio superintendent of public instruction Paolo DeMaria came away impressed from his visit with the Mansfield City Schools this week. Dr. DeMaria toured Springmill STEM Elementary School on Tuesday and left by declaring “Great Things are happening here”. DeMaria said he had an enjoyable time meeting the students and staff and told board president Judy Forney to “Keep up the good work.”
Springmill Elementary is the only Ohio Department of Education-designated STEM school in Richland County.
