The Ohio state superintendent of public instruction Paolo DeMaria will make a stop in Mansfield Tuesday for a visit with the Mansfield City Schools. Dr. DeMaria will tour Springmill STEM Elementary School, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11.
The pre-kindergarten program has a 5-Star Step Up to Quality state rating, the highest that can be earned. Dr. DeMaria also will visit STEM classrooms. Springmill STEM Elementary, now K-2, is the only Ohio Department of Education-designated STEM school in Richland County.
