The Mansfield Police Department has added their 81st officer to its force. Scott Kotterman was sworn-in recently after spending time with the Richland County Sheriff’s Office. Mansfield Police Chief Ken Coontz told WMAN, he plans on adding another officer in the middle of September. The goal is to get the Mansfield Police Department to a full staff of 86 officers.
