The Mansfield Area Y has announced its water splash pad park, located at 750 Scholl Road, will be open to the public next summer. It had been originally scheduled to open this summer. Splash park construction has been delayed due to permit issues beyond the Y’s control. However, construction will resume soon and should be completed by this fall. Rain Drop Products of Ashland is waiting for construction to be completed in order to install inclusive, water-spraying creature features that will make this park unlike any other. An official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held prior to opening next summer.
