The Ashland School board approved a contract with the city of Ashland for continued use of the tennis courts at Brookside Park. The contract is for $75,000 for 35 years, which the city will use, along with a grant from the State of Ohio, to help resurface tennis courts at Brookside Park this summer. RichlandSource.com reports, the Ashland City Schools also approved a new policy to install door barricades to classrooms in the district to improve school safety.
