Mansfield City Council gave the thumbs up for $20,000 of improvements to be made at Liberty Pool. Councilman Cliff Mears says the money will be used to make needed repairs, so the pool can open up for the season. Council also agreed to a contract with the Mansfield YMCA for $37,000 to run Liberty Pool for the summer. The YMCA provides Lifeguards and swimming activities at Liberty Pool.
