A former US Marine Veteran will be honored on Thursday June 7th, by the Richland County Joint Veterans Council. RichlandSource.com reports, Fredric Holt, who passed away in 2014, joined the Marines in 1954 at the age of 17, will have the American flag raised in his honor at 6 pm, in front of the Richland County Courthouse. The flag will be flown in his honor for 21 days and his name engraved on a plaque, which will be displayed inside the Richland County Administration building.
