The Mansfield Salvation Army will be recognizing “Doughnut Day” by once again serving our veterans complimentary doughnuts on June 1st from 8am until 10am at the VA Outpatient Clinic on Trimble Road, Mansfield, Ohio. There will also be complimentary doughnuts at the Salvation Army Community Room (Lower Level) from 10am until 3pm during a Red Cross Blood Drive for any individuals that are donating blood. National Doughnut Day is on the first Friday of June each year, created by The Salvation Army in 1938 to honor the women who served doughnuts to soldiers during World War 1.
