The Madison Township Fire Department is investigating a fire that broke out late Sunday afternoon on South Walker Avenue. Madison Township Fire Chief Ron Luttrell said the blaze broke out just before 4 pm at 57 South Walker Avenue and was confined to the kitchen area of the mobile home. No one was hurt in the fire and about a total of $2,500 in damage was done. The exact cause of the fire is not known and remains under investigation.
