Mansfield Police are investigating the death of an 18 month old child. RichlandSource.com reports late last week on May 3rd a child was taken to OhioHealth hospital with what was believed to be a head injury. The child was later flown by life flight to Nationwide in Columbus, where the 18 month old died. Mansfield Police Lt. Robert Skropits says the department is waiting on the report from the coroner to see if there was any foul play involved or if it was just an accident.
