In the village of Shiloh, there is a proposal for a water rate increase.

According to RichlandSource.com, Mayor Charles Reeder said, the increase would help pay for a proposed $3 million project, which would install new water meters, fire hydrants, replace the Main Street water line and tear down the old water tower.

Village Council is scheduled to vote on July 25th, and if approved, would see water rates increase by 3%.
