Mansfield City Council this week approved $90,000 in repair work for a broken water main on the north side of town.

According to RichlandSource.com, the 16 inch water main broke along Ohio 13 and under a US 30 bridge, which feeds to the industrial park and a good portion of the north end of town.

Engineer Bob Bianchi says, one line is flowing, but they would have some real problems if the other line were to break.  The water main is 47 years old and the hope is to get it repaired in about 10 days.
