Fatal One-Vehicle Crash in Jeromesville

Jeromesville man, 23, killed in one-vehicle crash in Ashland County

A 23-year-old Jeromesville man died in a one-vehicle crash. According to the Ashland Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Benjamin Johns, was driving southwest on C.R. 30A, when the car went off the left side of the road, struck a mailbox and tree before coming to a stop. Johns was not wearing his seat-belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. Johns was the only occupant inside when the crash occurred and the crash remains under investigation.
