Flooding Concerns: Clear Fork Schools Release Early Thursday

Students in the Clear Fork schools were released from class early on Thursday due to flooding concerns in the Bellville area, according to RichlandSource.com.

Superintendent Janice Wyckoff said it was the first time in her 8 years in the district that school was let out early because of the risk of flooding. Heavy rain and snow melt from the previous storm caused water to come across roads that you don’t normally see. The Bellville Police department reminding residents to be cautious and don’t drive through roadways covered in water.
