Ashland has officially been given the green light to construct the city's first roundabout.
RichlandSource.com reports, the cost will be around $2.2 Million dollars, but thanks to ODOT funds and grants, there will be no cost to Ashland for the project.
Mayor Matt Miller said, work should start in June at the intersection of Cottage Street, U.S. 250 and Faultless Drive - and take about 4 months to complete. Miller said the reason for the roundabout is all about safety at that intersection.
