Richland County With 66 New COVID Cases Since Friday

Richland Public Health is reporting that since Friday, there have been 66 new positive COVID-19 tests in Richland County.

That brings the county to a total of 980 confirmed cases - with 92 probable cases - for a total of 1072 since the pandemic started back in March.

Richland remains in the Red level 3 with a warning of a possible moving later this week to the level 4 Purple category on the Ohio Public Health Advisory Map, due to spread of the virus.

The Ohio National Guard was in Mansfield Monday to assist in the COVID-19outbreak at the Richland Correctional Institution.

Ashland County reported 10 new positive cases of COVID-19 on Monday, according to the state's website.
