- Governor DeWine is reversing course when it comes to wearing face masks in public. Yesterday, DeWine said requiring people to wear them in public would be be part of the plan to reopen the state. At today's coronavirus briefing, DeWine signaled a change of heart, saying the use of masks will be a recommendation and not mandatory. The governor said it will be up to specific businesses on whether they will require customers to wear them.
