Commissioners To Reduce Amount of Excess Sales Tax It Shares

The Richland County Commissioners voted Tuesday to reduce by 1% the amount of excess sales tax it shares with townships, villages and cities, according to RichlandSource.com. This will go into effect next year in 2020 and is the 2nd year in a row the Commissioners have reduced the amount shared by 1%, which is around $18,000. The reason is due to high cost next year for employee insurance costs.
