Bellville Man Accused of Murder likely to have Case heard by Grand Jury

A Bellville man accused of murder will likely have his case heard by a grand jury, according to RichlandSource.com.

Jordan Skoog, 28, was charged with murder in the death of a 19 year old New London man on March 20th. The Richland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on Frontier Trail in Mifflin Township and found Austin Smiley deceased with one gunshot wound.

Richland County Prosecutor Gary Bishop said there is no reason for a hearing and the case will next be heard in Common Pleas Court.
