Kingwood Center Groundbreaking for New Visitor Center

Kingwood Center Gardens will hold a ground breaking ceremony this Thursday at 1:30 for a new visitor’s center, known as “The Garden Gateway Project.Bill Collins, on the Visitor Center Committee told WMAN News, benefactors contributed $9 million for the 14-thousand square foot addition.

Construction is expected to be completed in the Summer of2020.

The public is welcome to attend the ceremony, enter Kingwood through the Park Avenue West or Linden Road gates.An informal reception will follow.
