Ashland County Accident Claims Life of Michigan Woman

A single vehicle accident Sunday night in Ashland County claimed the life of a Michigan woman. The highway patrol is investigating the crash that took place on Township road 908 in Clear Creek Township.  The driver of the car was a 16 year old female from Wooster, who lost control of the car and hit a utility pole before turning over. RichlandSource.com reports that two other females were passengers inside the car, a 21 year old from Wooster, who had minor injuries and a 23 year old from Michigan, who died at the scene from her injuries. All 3 were not wearing seat belts and speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.
