The city of Mansfield has received a grant for up to $110,000, which will be used toward the purchase of new DNA Testing equipment.
The Mansfield Police Department has a machine that is getting older and this will upgrade the system. The new DNA Testing equipment will actually make money for the city, as Mansfield has contracts with Columbus and other cities to do some of their DNA Testing.
